One of the hidden gems in the digi world is a community called Pixel Scrapper. The design team there makes free scrapping assets; individual papers and elements and makes several new ones available daily. You can have 5 per day at no cost. It's a neat concept. I have found some really interesting buttons and paper templates there and I love the paints. Anyway, they also have a monthly blog train that anyone can participate. It is a great way for new designers to try it out. They like to encourage everyone and I like that. I decided to join in the May hop since it is a birthday theme. It was the perfect palette for me to make this 'different' kind of birthday kit.

  16. Love the snarky pot shots, lol! My son-in-law got the grim reaper looking for cake for me in the form of a big balloon on my 45th birthday - brought it to my office in the middle of my work day. Boy, did my employees get a kick out of that! Now his 40th is coming up... All I can say is, thank you!
