Stormy Sunshine and a couple of freebies

Get ready for some really pretty stuff! I was struggling for a name for these newest sets of packs and asked my team for ideas. My CTM Sharon captured the words to describe the colors and feel of this kit perfectly, by saying it reminded her of the sky after a rain but just before the rainbow. I have to agree. Thanks, Sharon!

There are a few extra packs this time...Besides the papers and elements, I made a cluster pack (I love em all!!!) and a fun alpha to match...actually that alpha will pretty much work with ANY kit, so check it out too. Now the good part...these packs are each either $1 or $2..but only for the first week of release...After that, the whole set combined would cost $11.50.

Steampunk Marches on! NEW CU!

When I released Steampunk World last week, my creative team begged for plain hats so they could make their own hat creations.

Here is the result. I made a leather and silk versions. The band is removable so you can use it or place your own ribbon instead. Each comes layered with easy instructions on how to best clip your papers for a realistic look.

I got the idea to make a steampunk kit a few weeks ago and I got so excited about it. I thought of all these wonderful things I planned to put in it and wanted to sit down right then and there to complete it. It didn't exactly happen in one sitting, but I am thrilled with the results. First, I worried that these kits tend to be heavy on the dark colors, so I decided mine would not be like all the others. I used a few colors that brighten it up perfectly. I hope you love it as much as I do.

Friday Happy, Scrappy Hour!!!

Welcome to Key Lime Digi Design's very first Friday Happy Scrappy Hour! Happy Hours will feature a variety of different challenges. One week it may be a speed scrap held on facebook; another time it may be a template or a color challenge.  

I'm Lisa-Lisa from The Cherry On Top.  I'm a Creative Team member for Key Lime Digi Design. This week we kick off with a Combo- it's a color challenge with a Pagemap to follow along with. Take some inspiration from the page map AND the colors shown below.  You have one week to finish this mission.

Below, you will see a colour palette that mirrors many of the same hues in several kits from KLDD, including the recent freebies.  So, there is no reason you can't play along.  This challenge is also designed to invite card makers and paper scrappers as well. 

I'm giving you the palette, the Pagemap sketch template AND links to grab KLDD free stuff so that everyone can participate.  You've got a week to gather your goodies and put it all together. On Thursday, one randomly chosen scrapper will win Indigo Serenade (scroll down for image).

1.  Make sure at least three of these colours are in your layout.  

  

2.  Here is the sketch template to follow.

This sketch template is provided by pagemaps.  They have hundreds of templates to help you get started with your scrappy endeavours when inspiration seems to be lacking.

3.  Make sure at least 50% of your layout is from KLDD.
