Week 2 Contest Kit Freebie- More Beachy Fun

I love the thrill of almost missing deadlines...no, not really. Haha. It's partly my fault because I went to the pool for 2 hours...but it was for a good reason. I wanted to relax and also get in some mild exercise for my hand that has been bothering me for 2 weeks. I think it's a carpal tunnel-like issue which I have had once before. The good news is that it's slowly coming back to normal. While I was in the pool I was thinking of a few things that eventually went into this kit. I am thinking if I have enough extras, there may be an add-on.

Contest inspired kit (freebie)

Work has kept me on my toes..and a recent flare up in my left hand had me thinking I might miss the annual Next Designer Contest over at Digital Scrapbooking Studio. The theme is Road Trip...so after thinking about it for a few days, I cleared my desk and let the hand heal a bit first. I decided to go for it and to focus on where I live. It is a travel destination with the only road being US 1.

A big challenge is keeping the kit this small but still functional. I think my favorite part was making the brads for the centers, or was it the tire track tapes...or perhaps the postcard. Oh well...It was fun to come up with it all.
